BaRelai Images is the merging of the names of two friends and  photographers Barbara Bishop and Elaine Watts, who have a combined experience of more than 20 years. With two distinctive photographic visions, we formed BaRelai Images, "The Beauty of Life in Photographs." We are a full service studio, specializing in handcrafted black & white, color and fine art photography. We are also a wedding, portrait, event and creative images studio.

BARBARA BISHOP—I describe my photographic style as creative and uncomplicated. What I do is photograph a subject that appeals to me and interpret that subject with a camera. I like color, but I love black and white—a pair of boots left on the front porch, just as a flower in its natural color growing against the backdrop of a blue sky, can be interpreted as beauty in its final print.

ELAINE WATTS—I describe myself as an imaginative artist who captures everyday objects in a creative, sometimes abstract, way, showing there is more that one way to look at a subject. Simple, everyday objects that one may ignore are seen differently through the lens of my camera. The close-up of a tree’s bark, the rocks on a beach and foliage found deep in the woods take on a beauty and a uniqueness all their own.
